Arizona Democratic Committee

Doesn’t matter if you are Democrat or Republican, any objective observer would have to admit Democratic Executive Director Maria Weeg and Communications Director Emily Bittner do an outstanding job. It is a rare day when they do not release at least one or two attacks on Republican officials, constantly putting heat on candidates and elected officials of the opposition party.

Oro Valley officials

Oro Valley officials have threatened one of their own residents and are trying to force him to register as a political committee. Why? Because he wrote in his blog that he supported challengers to current incumbents for the town council.

Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton had a good week in Arizona. Hillary was endorsed by Congressman Ed Pator, and drew a crowd of over 2500 to see her with thousands more in overflow rooms and outside the building.

Abstinence program supporters

The federal government was offering Arizona $1million for abstinence only programs, but the Governor turned down the money that would have required a $800,000 match from the state.
