Voter turnout average for primary, record amount expected for general
By Wally EdgeVoter turnout for the primary was about average as only 22.8% turned out to vote in the primary compared to 24.7 in 2004, 23% in 2000 and 19% in 1998. With all of the hot Congressional races and with the state's senior Senator running for president Secretary of State Jan Brewer is expecting a record turnout for November 4th with as many as 80% of voters showing up on Election Day. That makes turnout efforts easy for both parties, just call everyone.
