While 56 of Arizona’s delegates where determined from the Super Tuesday presidential preference election, that is not the end of the story for Arizona’s delegates. McCain pulls out a close one?

Early on the exit polls in Arizona showed our home senator was having problems in his back yard.  Exit polls had the race tied between John McCain and Mitt Romney at 36%-36%.   With news reports saying McCain was in a race for his home state conservative blogs went on the attack.  National and state blogs were quick to say this could be his unraveling.  Even I had a blistering piece ready to post about McCain’s small win in his home state.

McCain in Arizona for biggest day of his campaign

Arizona Senator John McCain will be home on Tuesday, February 5th in what will probably be the make or break night for his campaign.

A week ago McCain has won Florida, received the endorsement of Rudy Giuliani and headed into Super Tuesday on such a roll it seemed like the campaign was over.

Michelle Obama in Tucson

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's wife, Michelle Obama, will campaign for her husband  in Tucson today.    Michelle Obama will appear at the Fox Theatre, 30 N. Church Ave. Doors open at 3 pm with the  event scheduled to begin at 4. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton continue to battle in a close election in Arizona.
