McCain in Arizona for biggest day of his campaign

Arizona Senator John McCain will be home on Tuesday, February 5th in what will probably be the make or break night for his campaign.

A week ago McCain has won Florida, received the endorsement of Rudy Giuliani and headed into Super Tuesday on such a roll it seemed like the campaign was over.

McCain wins Florida

John McCain has been projected the winner in the Florida Primary. Florida is the first primary campaign where only Republicans could vote in the primary.  Rumor also has it Rudy Giuliani could endorse McCain as early as tomorrow.

AZ poll finds Clinton, McCain leading

A poll conducted by the Behavior Research Center finds Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican John McCain leading their respective fields in Arizona, the AP reports.

On the Democratic side, Clinton picks up 38%, followed by Barack Obama with 32% and John Edwards with 16%.

McCain wins South Carolina

Arizona’s own John McCain went back to where his campaign derailed in 2000 and picked up a much needed win. John McCain has won a close campaign against Mike Huckabee. Exit polls show McCain won large among Independent voters and even won a narrow margin among Republicans. With Huckabee coming in a close second, Mitt Romney winning Nevada and Rudy Giuliani camped in Florida, the close race for the Republican nomination goes on.

Mike Huckabee practically moved to Iowa, a state that had an evangelical base that best fit his campaign.  Huckabee had a natural advantage there and worked it hard. Result: He won as he should have.

Final numbers from Professional Republicans straw poll

Last night we reported the Professional Republicans held a straw poll and a sounce told us Ron Paul was the big winner.

The Professional Replicans have submitted the final numbers to us and if these numbers are any indication (doubtful) the Ron Paul campaign will be excited on Feb 5th. Notice"blank ballots" beat current national frontrunner Mike Huckabee.
