Governor now holds the power to decide whether to the $250 million tax will be permanently eliminated or reinstated this January.

Property Tax Repeal overcomes first hurdle, but still short in Senate

The Arizona House today voted to pass HB2220 which would permanently repeal the statewide property tax, but the bill is still one vote short in the Senate. The bill would permanently repeal the tax that was suspended by the legislature two years ago and in set to expire next year.  read more »

Capitol honors its own
