Mark Thompson will try again for LD17

Mark Thompson wants his old seat back.

The former state legislator, who chaired the House Human Services Committee during his sole term in office, has filed to run again in Legislative District 17.

Thompson served from 2003 to 2005, and ran again in 2006, but dropped out before the primary. He has most recently been a lobbyist with Arizona Advocacy Group LLC, counting among his clients Arizona State University.

"I miss it," said Thompson when asked about wanting to take another shot. "I can't stay away."

Clearing things up

Mark Thompson attends Grace Christian Church. It is true however that he wants lower taxes for all and wants to return power to the individual by means of removing some unnecessary Government mandates. He is by no means a member of the church of Scientology, nor has he been.

He has my vote, and is an amazing choice for LD-17, we need someone like Thompson back in the house!

Is Mark Thompson still an active member of Scientology? It's troubling that the tax-exempt 'church' uses government money towards the IRS sanctioned "charitable activity" of hiring private investigators to harass people (and their family) just for speaking about the ugly truth of this 'church'.
