MESA – The momentum continues to build for Primary election winner Scott Smith as he announced his latest fundraising numbers. The successful businessman and candidate for real change revealed that he has raised nearly $27,000 over 5 weeks in his bid for Mesa mayor.
“This is a very exciting time from the endorsements of Vice Mayor Walters and the three new council members to our fundraising successes,” said Smith, “I am humbled by the support I continue to receive. We are working very hard these last few weeks to make sure that we get our message out to the voters of Mesa.”
In the latest finance report filed today, Smith showed that his campaign had collected $20,801.44 from April 1st to the 30th. He has also raised another $6,000 in the week following the finance reporting date. Since the beginning of the campaign, Smith has received over $102,000 in donations from supporters.
